Education, papers and continuing education:

Prof. d-r Mirche Simeonov has completed his studies at the Medical Faculty Skopje in 1972. In 1979, he has completed his Specialty in General Surgery and Subspecialty in Traumatology at the Department of Surgery with Traumatology. In 1990, he has defended his doctorate on the topic: “Neck fractures of the femur” after which he became a Docent at the Department of Surgery Traumatology at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, while in 1994, he became a Professor at the Department of Surgery and Traumatology at the Medical Faculty in Skopje.

Scientific and Professional accomplishments:

He is part of the authors of the book: “Special Surgery in the Field of Polytrauma and Traumatology”, which is still being used at the Department of Surgery Traumatology at the Medical Faculty in Skopje.

In 1976, in collaboration with the spine surgeon, Roux Camille, from Lyon, France, a work study has been organized in order to exchange traumatic spinal cord injury experiences at the Department of Surgery and Traumatology at the Medical Faculty in Skopje.

In his rich career, he has written more than 130 educational articles in the field of Traumatology, published in international journals.

Member of:
President of MAOT (Macedonian Association of Orthopedists and Traumatologists)
Attends a large number of international seminars and education organized by SICOT (International Association of Orthopedists and Traumatologists).

Prof. d-r Mirche Simeonov has a great experience and interest in:

• Rehabilitation of sports trauma through arthroscopic treatment and modern minimally invasive skeletal system interventions.
• Rehabilitation of all soft tissue injuries (muscle injuries, tendons), shoulder muscle layers, biceps lesions.
• Rehabilitation of intra-articular injuries of the meniscus lesions, ligament lesions, biceps rupture, upper arm musculature.
